My 3rd grade munchkins are full of energy! We have a diverse family of 20. I teach in a smaller 3-5 elementary building. Their high energy transfers into their learning which creates a classroom environment that keeps everyone engaged while at the same time keeps me on my toes with behavior. Our group loves GoNoodle dancing and playing games to learn.
We encourage each other to always do your best.
Our classroom is focused around caring for each other, encouraging one another and having fun in the process. We write monthly personal goals and we celebrate one another each time a goal is accomplished. They truly enjoy seeing each other grow which turns into motivation to keep getting better.
My Project
The Flex-Space Round Floor Table will promote intimate learning with small groups in areas such as math, reading and writing. My students love learning in other areas of the room and constantly ask to get pillows or sit under their desk, simply for a chance to move out of the traditional seating. The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats and Flex-Space Wobble Cushions are just the perfect accent to the Flex-Space Round Floor Table.
Students can feel comfortable as they learn.
My desire for these materials is to create a learning environment that promotes the desire to learn and transforms the students way of viewing school and the demands of third grade. By creating this type of environment, I hope my students present and future will feel more connected and in-tune with their learning.
