My Project

My students love sensory experiences! With everything on a screen lately, my students enjoy coming to school for hands on experiences. They are always choosing to play with what little my classroom has of playdoh. We are in desperate need of some inspiring dough creations!

Playing with playdoh is an incredibly fun way for children to strengthen their hand muscles and develop fine motor skills.

It is also wonderful for encouraging social skills such as sharing, taking turns as well as language development. We will use the playdoh sets, like the dentist set and the food sets, to encourage pretend play while working those fingers. We will use the playdoh tools for open ended play. The possibilities with dough are endless!
