My students are a very eclectic group.

I have ESL students, Title 1 students, and gifted and talented students, all in one room. We are in an urban district. As most children, they are very into technology but don't have much readily available in or out of school.

My Project

In my classroom the 4 iPods would be used mostly as listening centers. Either I will download the books onto the iPod if available, find a QR code to link to the book, or record myself reading the book and load it into the iPod. I am hoping to use the iPods to improve fluency and reading enjoyment!

I believe this project will improve my classroom because students will be more excited to read and listen to a book instead of flipping through to just see the pictures.

I'm hoping fluency will be improved especially with my ESL and Title 1 students.
