My Students

My students are used to technology. In the classroom, they want to be able to use technology like iPods. IPods are an efficient way for students to interact with their world. This gives them another way to learn in the classroom.

My students are 4th grade students that have had some experience with technology.

Most of them have some contact with different technology devices at home. We use it in the classroom as a group to learn the concepts taught visually. My students like to interact with each other and myself. They really enjoy having a turn using our whiteboard to show the answers.

My Project

My students need 4 iPods. The iPods will give my students a chance to interact with the teacher and other students through the different apps offered. They will be able to do science, math, reading and art activities using the iPod. These will give them a chance to use their technology skills to improve their learning.

These iPods will give my students an opportunity to use technology that is part of their everyday world.

This will especially provide an experience for those students that do not have any other contact with this type of technology besides school.
