I am a middle school resource teacher working to help my students bring up their reading skills. I am also constantly looking for new ways to improve negative behaviors in the classroom.

My students are 2-4 grade levels below in reading. They need the IPOD Touch so that they are able to listen to downloaded audio books, at their reading levels. Listening to audio books using the IPOD Touch will help to improve their decoding and fluency skills. The IPOD Touch also has applications that I can use to help track behavior problems. The IPOD Touch will help me to create graphs tracking the date/time, duration, antecedent, and consequence of the behaviors that take place.

The IPOD Touch will give my students the chance to improve their reading skills before going to high school giving them the chance to earn a diploma. The IPOD touch is also an exciting piece of technology that will bring some enthusiasm into my classroom.

Your help will make it possible for my students to use technology to help them improve there reading skills. You will also make it possible for me to help eliminate negative behaviors in the classroom by giving me the means to track these behaviors quickly and efficiently with the IPOD Touch.
