This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach in an amazing school in North Minneapolis with the greatest kids and staff. My 2nd Grade students are hardworking, kind, and lovable. They love to learn and love to be engaged with technology and hands on projects. My students come from a variety of backgrounds that make them who they are.
My students' diversity allows them to embrace and accept the uniqueness of the world.
They love unconditionally and are continuing their journey to be knowledgeable, skilled, and confident citizens in the 21st century.
My Project
My students need iPad cases so that they can utilize their iPads for learning as well as to learn 21st-century technology skills. iPads are a great source of engagement and learning in our classroom. Students use them in all subjects, including math, reading, and writing.
Cases will allow learning to happen all over the classroom since the fear of breaking the iPads will be lessened.
Students enjoy collaborating with their classmates and sharing their learning so they can often be found bringing their iPad to a classmate. Currently, their movement is limited since we are afraid of accidental drops. The cases will allow more learning to happen.
