Help me give my students Apple iPads to use science apps during class during stations.
I recently discussed with our principal how it's fortunate our students ask many interesting questions and how they stay curious about the world around them. They're eager to find reasons as to why things in the world happen and they truly enjoy sharing their thoughts. It's been a few months working with them and I'm still happy to say they continue to have that enthusiasm for science!
My students are full of energy, they're curious, and they're a strong-minded group of individuals living in a neighborhood that doesn't support that about them yet.
Through the excitement of having a science class at their school, I want them to have the necessary tools that are used in the science world so they can best nurture that natural curiosity through hands-on activities.
I learned I can provide students even more STEM learning opportunities, especially during stations, where they can use iPads for the amazing STEM applications through the Apple Store such as The Elements, Frog Dissection, SimplePhysics, and many more!
My students live in one of the toughest neighborhoods, but they have so much to offer and through the technology we have available, I can lead them to nurture that curiosity they have through using the applications available through the Apple store.
We would greatly appreciate it if we could ask for a few iPads to get started with this journey in getting more technology in our classroom!
