Do you remember what is was like to learn based on the "mold"? Students need differentiated instruction to meet their own learning styles and abilities. A classroom iPad will give us just that! Each student will rotate through the iPad station each day and work on applications geared toward them
I have 23 high energy, fun, caring, loving, and motivated students in my kindergarten classroom.
All of my students love to learn and experience new things each day. Hands-on activities is a must for us! They attend a public school where the expectations are rising daily. Some students come to kindergarten reading, while others need additional guidance and support to reach the end of the year goals. In order to reach these goals, new and creative strategies are needed.
My Project
Have you ever seen a child with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod? They can manipulate the devices better than most adults, with little to no guidance and instruction. An iPad mini in our classroom will serve as an additional resource to get my students to reach their goals. I will be able to download numerous applications geared towards ALL learning styles and ALL academic abilities. Students will be able to complete instructional games and activities using the iPad and I will be able to monitor the use and gains through the iPad daily. Please donate and help us add technology and fun into our daily learning!
My students need an iPad in order to customize learning to their styles and academic abilities.
Students will be able to work at their own speed and independently. This project would motivate my lowest students and help them reach their goals. Students LOVE technology and learning while using an iPad would reach all of my learners. This project will not only help my students this year, but will help my students year after year!
