My Students

I currently teach 70 wonderful 5th grade boys and girls who deserve the opportunity to learn how become active thinkers in all academic areas.

The students I teach are an enthusiastic group that don't allow their limited resources to get in the way of their academic achievement.

They can't get enough hands-on, active, and engaging projects. They love challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! A large percentage of my students are economically disadvantaged, but they do not let that hold them back.

My Project

These iPads will enhance our love of learning through our Community STEM Garden. My students are noticeably more engaged when learning outdoors and are less disruptive of their peers when they are given a chance to work with technology.

Combining nature and technology will create a learning environment they just can't get enough of!

I love to see the fuel they have of learning through the use of technology. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional options to make more effective learning choices. It will allow them to have more "voice and choice" in how they design and engineer our Community STEM Garden.
