My Students

My students LOVE to learn! They are learning all the time through books, experiences, and at school of course.

At our school we do the best with what we have, which in Chicago Public Schools is not much.

Technology is such an important part of the world we live in now. While we have technology in our school it is all shared with the other classrooms in the school. We would love to have more dedicated technology for our first grade classroom. This technology would help meet the needs of all students in the classroom.

My Project

Students must be comfortable with technology and how it enhances their learning. While my students are advanced they are still small children. I want them to become life long learners and have the skills to do that when they leave my classroom.

Students will be able to do research, practice skills and advance their skills at their own pace with these iPads.

We were so lucky to receive two iPad minis earlier this year and we LOVE them so much! The students and I are hoping to continue to grow the technology in our classroom with the addition of these two iPads.
