I teach at South Houston Elementary a Title I school in South Houston TX where the majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of my students receive backpack buddy food every week, and our school also runs the communities in school for our families. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day. I strive to make my classroom an environment where my students feel safe and loved.
My class is in need of IPads. Technology is a huge part of today's classroom across America and all over the world.
My students need iPads to build early literacy, math and technological skills!
I teach in a title one school and unfortunately, the majority of my students do not have a computer, tablet or iPads at home. I would love to help them build their technology, literacy and math skills through the use of IPads. Having iPads in my classroom would mean that my wonderful students could practice the various skills needed to succeed in Pre-k. The Ipads would make learning more fun and keep my students engaged.
