My students need an iPad, an Apple TV, iPad accessories, and ink for our wireless printer as this technology will make the learning process more interactive and engaging.
Many students struggle to access the curriculum through direct instruction. Having an iPad, an AppleTV, as well as the other requested accessories will allow my students to become more active in the learning process. Let's bring the learning directly to the students' finger tips!
Our school serves a diverse group of students that learn through different modalities.
They show more success during hands-on learning activities. They enjoy sharing their thoughts with their classmates. Part of our school population includes English learners and students with learning disabilities. The iPad will provide visuals and diagrams to help build understanding. The AppleTV will allow my students and I to project images directly from the iPad for the whole group to see.
My Project
During small groups I will be able to draw pictorials to help build understanding. Student work can be captured from the iPad and projected through the AppleTV. During workshop time, students can play educational games such as Baseball Multiplication, Stack the States, and Sum Dog. The ink that has been requested will be used in our classroom printer. This printer allows students to print wirelessly from an iPad. The styluses will be passed around the classroom to allow students to present their work as they explain how they solved problems posed to the class.
The instructional technology requested will help incorporate technology in my classroom.
This technology can be used across all subject areas. Students can listen to the weekly stories for our reading program, play vocabulary games, and review math facts. This technology will allow students to do research for science and social studies projects as well. Thank you so much for supporting our class!
