My students need more iPads in the classroom. We currently have 1 iPad per group. My goal is to eventually get iPads 1 per two students. With iPads my students can listen to stories.

My Students

My students are active learners and enjoy coming to school to learn. I want to give them all the opportunities possible for them to learn the standards.

We are a small country K-8 school.

We have about 800 students. We live in a rural area in the central valley in California. Our school is unique, surrounded by dairy and farm land. Our students come from families that work on these farms and dairies.

I too strive to keep learning so my students will also benefit from current knowledge.

My Project

My students need more iPads in the classroom. We currently have 1 iPad per group. My goal is to eventually get 1 iPad per 2 students. Once each pair of students have an iPad to share, they will be able to listen to stories read to them. They will also be able to do letter sound apps and math apps to help with the common core standards being taught. In math, they will be able to do addition and subtraction math facts as well as shapes on the iPad. I believe iPads in the classroom are essential to today's learning environment.
