My Students
My students have a little harder time learning than others. I am an inclusion and resource teacher. My students are super smart, it just might take them a little more time to get things done. My students are like any other students, in that, they want to be successful in life. They have dreams and goals just like everyone else. Many of our students don't have good home lives, or positive influences in their lives. As teachers, we are willing to try every strategy we can to engage our students and help them work past emotional and behavioral blocks towards academic achievement.
My Project
These iPads and headphones would be a game changer for my classroom. The ability to have a test or quiz read aloud for my students would help my struggling readers. The iPads would also help monitor my students IEP goals by allowing them to work on their goals from the iPad. These iPads would definitely bring learning to life in my classroom.
My special education students need extra, 1 on 1 assistance, and iPads will make the group run more efficiently and allow those students quicker access to information.
These materials would be used during my resource class with my Special Education students in small group. Often they struggle to do the most basic work and these ipads would give them quick access to, video explanations, apps, and collaborative learning to help lower their frustration and increase their learning.
