Kindergarten is all about embracing the love of learning and each other each and every day. We spend our days building relationships, creating, reading, computing and understanding the world around us so that we can be contributors to this wonderful world in which we live.
I am the lucky teacher of 18 inquisitive, passionate, outgoing, sweet Kindergartners and my students love learning!
They come to school each day ready to embrace new learning and challenges. My students are open to new ways of learning and thinking and using many different modes to soak up their new learning.
These students are our future and I want to provide them opportunities inside my classroom to foster creativity and passion, preparing them to be our world's future leaders.
One day, we will make the world a better place!
My Project
iPads are amazing tools! I want to open up the world of technology to my students as they can explore, learn and create together. These iPads would be a tool for students to deepen their understanding of concepts we are learning. Alongside their learning, students will be able to learn about themselves and each other and how to create using a variety of tools.
I desire for my students to be able to make discoveries about the world and themselves through exploration, using apps on iPads.
Children naturally make discoveries and want to share what they have learned with others. With iPads, my Kindergartners will begin to think critically and solve problems in a collaborative way. Having iPads in my students hands would help develop their 21st century skills which are critical to be successful in our world.
