Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at my school are dedicated to success!
All of my students come from low income homes, but that does not stop them from pursuing their dreams.
Many of these students face daily challenges at home and outside the classroom. However, once they step foot into the school they are all goal-orientated and will not let anything come in their way of succeeding! They use these daily challenges to drive them even closer to their goals.
My students work hard no matter what level they are at. They are not afraid to take risks, ask for help or challenge themselves. My students are true scholars!
My Project
The use of technology in the classroom directly impacts the level of engagement! My students and I would love to have a set of iPads for our math classroom. These10 iPads will help foster engagement for students at all levels.
Math stations are a key part of our classroom.
Although I am a 6th grade math teacher, the students in my math classroom are all working at different levels. By having a set of iPads in my classroom, I would have the ability to create highly engaging math stations which meet the individual needs of all the students in my classroom. Students at all levels would be able to feel confident and have access to the content I am teaching. When my students feel confident and have access they are more engaged and thus more successful.
