Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I work with a diverse group of preschoolers who have special needs. I am a developmental preschool teacher. My students need access to high quality, hands on engaging materials to their literacy, writing and math learning experiences. My projects will be written to serve the needs of my students.

My passion is providing students with the tools they will need to be successful in school and life.

My students come from underprivileged homes and deserve the same advantages as their peers.

My Project

My students need an iPad to help them communicate their learning. My students have limited communication skills and therefore are not always able to verbally communicate what they have learned.

The iPad will provide another hands-on engaging avenue for my students to use while learning to read, write, and count.

They are a great group of young learners who will be able to utilize ABC apps to help them learn how to trace their letters to help them write them later. Math apps will help them learn to count and recognize numbers while singing songs and playing games.
