My Students

I have a classroom of 25 individuals. My students come from many different countries and speak three or more different languages. They are a hard working, caring, and motivated group that will be thrilled with any contribution to our learning success.

Each student brings their own style to my classroom.

They express themselves in many different ways. I love to teach creatively to capture a student's willingness to learn. Once you get a hold of a student's attention, the possibilities are endless.

My Project

When you have students from all over the world, one way to create an even learning playing field is technology! I teach students from many countries and iPads could really help students with language, reading, and making friends. This will change the dynamics in my classroom and help with student engagement.

We will use these iPads for writing words, sentences, paragraphs, and eventually five paragraph essays.

It is my hope to have an iPad or some form of technology in each of my student's hands during this school year.

With this technology, I can create more one to one lessons and have a virtual teaching assistant in my classroom.
