My Students

I teach 18 kind, funny, friendly and hardworking second graders. My kiddos are curious and inquisitive, creative and fun! They love working with their peers and using technology in their lessons. These kids are always eager to take their learning into their own hands and show what they know! They enjoy reading chapter books, any science experiments, and playing math games. They flourish when given the chance to be creative and think critically. My students constantly amaze me on an academic and personal level!

My Project

Right now my school has provided our classrooms with a few tablets that students are able to use. However, with a small, limited number we are greatly restricted to what can be done with them. Our independent student centers usually have 5-6 students in them at a time. With only four tablets (currently) that leaves someone out if tablets were to be used as an activity for that station. Having some access to technology for every student would enable our classroom to further take advantage of many online resources for classrooms (such as Razz Kids, Seesaw, BraiPop, and more) that students could interact with independently.
