What makes my students special? Their desire to learn. My students are special, they are children who give love but also need a lot from their teachers. They are cheerful, they like the recess time, they like to laugh and enjoy in the park when the weather is beautiful. My students come from a community that is difficult, economically and socially. The students are typically from under-represented populations: minorities, low-income, single parent households. I want these kids to have a fun way to learn and keep motivated in their learning and feel safe in their environment.
My students need iPads for their learning. This is a class of Dual Language students who learn in English and Spanish and to enrich their learning and make the learning process a fun one I would like to add iPads. Students can learn thru apps, read electronic books and do math games. My purpose is to add the iPads as a learning center.
Students will love to work in their iPads and be able to work independently and collaborative.
Ipads will be able to build their technology skills while accessing a rigorous curriculum. This would help prepare them for third grade.
