Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our Middle School students are excited and eager to learn. My students are a group of loving, social, and active children with big hearts.
Many students come from multilingual homes or where no English is spoken at home.
Each and every child that comes into my class is motivated to be the best students they can be. Our classroom is about safety and comfort.
Our goal is to achieve and prove to everyone, but most importantly to ourselves, that we have what it takes to do and become anyone in our future.
My Project
This school year, my classroom has a large population of students who speak English as a second language. Our school has purchased Rosetta Stone to be able to help some of our English language learners. We also have a wonderful website to build our skills. We would like to be able to complete research projects on different historical events.
We are so excited to have this resource to use, but we are lacking the iPads to use it on.
My classroom needs two iPads and cases so that we may use and access these programs in our classroom. This would help us make each continue to have a successful academic career throughout their time in our school and in their futures!
