My Students

My students live in a small community in Texas. They have many experiences with the outdoors that include hunting, fishing and projects through 4-H. Our students come from supportive homes and our parents are involved in our school. However, our school is considered a Title One school because of our low-income status.

My students come to me each day eager to learn and are excited to discover what we will be learning about in class!

My kids are hard workers and strive to do their best at all times!

My Project

The iPads I am asking for will be utilized during station time while students visit me in the library. There are so many wonderful apps that read aloud to students and many educational apps that will reinforce what it being taught in the classroom. Students will also be able to use the iPads while conducting research for classroom assignments. My GT students will have access to updated technology to help them research and create their TPSP projects while at school.

The iPads and reading apps will further enhance students comprehension and fluency while encouraging a love for reading!

Using updated technology will increase students' literacy while also exposing them to new technology. Our classroom was affected by Hurricane Harvey.
