My Students

We are from a small rural neighborhood in Western North Carolina. Our Elementary School is starting a STEM club after school. This is our first year doing STEM after school and we are so excited to being this journey and make new discoveries along the way.

Our students are creative and love inventing robots that they can control.

STEM will help students learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These are skills that will help students thrive in the real world.

My Project

The iPad will help students create flipgrides and videos that they can upload for class assignments. The cover will protect the iPad from everyday wear and tear. Having an iPad in the classroom will allow me to video my lesson with the Swivil that I have in the room and email them to students that are absent. This will help students not fall behind.

My students enjoy making instructional videos on how to do classroom work.

They also enjoy uploading their STEM projects. Having an iPad will help students upload projects faster. Having multiple devices in the classroom allows for more collaboration.
