My students are very energetic and love to explore learning through play.
My school is a Title I school where all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.
I teach in a classroom where bubbly students come to school excited to learn every day! Providing an environment for students to actively learn is important to their physical and emotional well-being.
Early childhood students have a huge curiosity for learning and come to school each day ready to learn new things! DonorsChoose has made it possible for me to bring new materials into my classroom. Many of these things I wouldn't be able to have without the amazing generosity of people who donate! My students and I are so very grateful for their kindness and generosity they have shown towards our endeavors.
We use many computer programs in our school including Core 5, GrapeSEED, Letter School, and ABC Mouse to help our students with reading comprehension as well as math skills. Students access these apps during our guided group instruction. Unfortunately, the older computers and laptops can't support the use of our programs and we need more iPads to give more students access. Children can adapt to iPads much faster than desktops or laptops. Right now, we only have a handful of working iPads to support 25 students.
These iPads will allow additional students to access educational apps to increase instruction time.
We will be able to share these iPads among our peers and share ideas by collaborating.
