My Students

Creative, imaginative, diverse...these are just a few words to describe my students. I have five business skills classes with a total of one hundred and forty-eight, incredible thinkers who come in ready to face the day no matter the challenges they face at home. My students are becoming leaders in our classroom, our school and in their personal lives.

Many of my students come from high poverty homes.

Many live with relatives rather than parents. The challenges they face in getting their basic needs met are many. They are still some of the most incredible, young men and women I've ever known.

My Project

The iPad bundle with charging station and Sony earphones will make a huge difference in the my students' learning and my teaching. Having and effectively using iPads in my classroom will provide additional opportunities for my students to have more personalized learning experiences.

Having additional technology, iPads, in the classroom will provide opportunities for my students to be able to work and excel at their own level and pace.

I will be able to personalize lessons to fit each of my student’s progress.

My students will be given more opportunities to interact with platforms such as iReady math, Google Classroom, Nearpod, research projects, financial literacy projects and so much more!

Our students' lives are centered around technology and being able to provide them relevant experiences will make for better outcomes in their learning.
