Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is a K-5 school. Most if not all our students come from low socio-economic homes. Some of our students face many hardships that at times we are not aware of. They are very eager learners and always excited about new programs and technology in school.
My students are in their last three years of elementary and this is their last chance to receive 21st century leverage in Technology.
For some, school is the only place where they really get a chance to use tablets or computers. My class consists of students with different backgrounds and various educational needs. They enjoy hands-on learning, exploring different learning tools, and taking in everything that third grade has to offer. They love movement and discovery. Now that we have a new tablet its time to protect it for all student use.
My Project
The use of iPads in a classroom is beneficial to eager learners. Many students need repetition and practice in all academic areas. Our school has many various computer programs to help our students grow as learners. These programs will help our students grow in ELA, Math, science and of course technology,
Protected iPads offer on going leaning.
I have a few iPads in my classroom, but they do not have cases. It is essential that my students have cases so they will last and be beneficial to my other students. The cases will allow my student the freedom of collaboration and movement within the classroom.
