Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'ÃÂÃÂll understand." (Chinese Proverb)
Our society is making rapid advancements in technology. As educators it is our responsibility to teach in a way that is meaningful, while equipping students to succeed in a technology-driven world.
My students are just entering their careers as scholars.
They are excited and eager to be in school and they crave knowledge. What an exciting time in their lives to help keep that desire to learn alive, while making school fun for them and instilling a passion to become life-long learners!
My Project
If my students were able to have access to these 5 iPad Minis, they would be able to take their education to new levels. They would be able to use the iPad Minis to individualize their learning experience, where the needs of each student could be met. They would be practicing using and even developing QR codes, and practicing skills in all areas of academics. How incredible it would be for my students to have the opportunity to be inspired through technology!
Thank you for considering this project.
It would mean the world to my students to have the tools and resources to enhance their learning. They are excited to learn through technology, and to enhance their technological skills in order to keep up with the pace of the rapid advancements being made in our society.
