This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a multi-culturally diverse low-income/high poverty school district, my students face many challenges. My goal is to help my students learn in a fun creative way of learning.

I believe children are capable of learning if they fully believe in themselves.

Students in my class are challenged to "Be the Best that they can be!" Building self-esteem and challenging students is the core of my teaching.

My students gain wisdom and knowledge through an exciting, challenging, and positive classroom environment.

My Project

Using iPads to create innovative thinking for students working in cooperative groups is a goal in our classroom. My students will enhance their math, science, writing, reading and art abilities with iPad technology. Confidence and expertise in learning to problem solve are essential abilities needed for 21st century.

Exploration and practicing with different digital devices is a must for students to be successful in the 21st century.

We use desktop computers and iPads in our ELA, Science, Art, Writing Engineering, and coding as often as possible.

We need more iPads to form smaller cooperative groups for optimal learning in first grade.
