Help me give my students an iPad! They can use this to take pictures and make green screen videos to share with their families. They can also use apps to learn. This would give them many learning experiences.
I love everything about my 2nd graders. To highlight a few things is hard, but here I go... They love school. They want to learn. These kids are motivated to learn new things and to help each other learn.
These kids care about one another.
They push each other to be their best. These students want everyone in our classroom to be successful both academically and socially. Showing off their hard work makes these kids happy. They always want to share with the class and their families their accomplishments. I love watching the motivation of these kids and can't want to see what their future holds.
iPads have endless learning opportunities. They are kid-friendly in this technology era we are in.
Kids can send their families pictures and videos while updating their electronic portfolios.
They can share the amazing things we are doing in class. They can keep an online portfolio to watch themselves learn and grow all year long. The kids can be in charge of what goes in their portfolio and the sharing. This will give me more time to be with kids and let them take on the technology piece. iPads have endless learning opportunities with apps as well, so can be used for other learning opportunities as well.
