Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Welcome to VPK. The place where you make friends, learn social skills and take the first step into formal education. We learn from our mistakes and celebrate accomplishments. We work together and build a school family.
Many of our students have never been in school and have never interacted with a large group of friends.
Others are excelling at a faster pace and already recognize letters and their sounds. They are all unique and learn in vastly different ways. To make a classroom successful, you need the tools to give every child the opportunity to succeed.
My Project
Today our worl evolves around technology. Students are expected to understand how to efficiently operate ipads, computers, and any other technical device you can think of. Preschool students are even being tested as soon as they enter kindergarten on how well they can use a computer.
With these ipad games my students will not only be learning skills such as literacy and mathematices, but they will be acquiring the skills neccessary to be successful in today's technical era.
Not only are the games stimulating but they are also engaging and fun, making my students want to learn. With your help I will be able to provide my class with rich learning tools and the headphones neccessary for them to enjoy them.
