Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are bright and excited about learning. Many of my students do not have a home computer or an iPad at home. Our classroom gives them an opportunity to experience new technology.

My students are curious who embrace new material with open minds, and take chances to build upon their current background knowledge. I love their thirst for knowledge.

My Project

Kindergarten is such an important and exciting year -- it is when a child discover letters and numbers! There are some students who will hit every benchmark when they are supposed to, but there are many students who need interventions and more assistance, and many students who need to be enriched. An iPad will give students the opportunity to practice reading and mathematical skills during center and zone rotations through the various educational and exciting apps.

Today's technology has so much to offer students in the classroom.

Having an iPad and case will make learning fun while also personalizing learning to meet each student's particular need. We hope you will help make a difference in our classroom.
