My Students

My students are creative, full of questions, and ready to explore! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

Many students in my classroom come in saying they want to learn, however, their access to classroom basics has gone beyond my budget!

Our school is nestled in the heart of a busy city in New Hampshire, which was once surrounded by bustling mills. Now, with many of them closed, the city is coming back to life with new industries and a bustling college town next door.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, different readings, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners who are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

This project will help me to better demonstrate the world in which we are learning about. The "New World" is an area of expansion, and maps and explanation are hard to manipulate via google classroom.

This iPad will help me explain the expansion of the United States in ways my students never knew existed.

With this new technology, I will be able to help my students to explore the "New World" in ways not imaginable before.

Students will be able to see the landscape of the United States, unlike before. This iPad will be help me not only explain new maps, but show how to start projects, and help with notes.
