My Students

My students never fail to amaze me. They are very excitable and love to participate in hands-on activities in our library. I love to get them thinking and working together on projects in order to learn new concepts.

I am new to the Library Media Center this year, and I hope to make our space a more 21st-century environment.

We come from a very low socioeconomic region and these do not often have as many opportunities as students in other parts of our state. I hope to use m library to establish lovers of reading, life-long learners, and to motivate my students to believe in themselves and recognize their full potential.

My Project

I am excited to begin working on video production with my students as we slowly get back to normalcy here in Kentucky. Our students are now in our buildings and ready to learn. I want to make my Library Media Skills class more enjoyable by teaching video production to my students.

To teach these skills we will need access to an iPad since that is the easiest device to both record and edit footage.

We currently do not own any iPad devices in the library and desperately need one to get started.

Please help me teach the next generation of students the creative tech skills that they need!
