This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students face many challenges, but they are beating the odds everyday! They are excited to learn, and eager to explore their talents and follow their dreams. They know an education is the key to a bright future, and they bring their best everyday!

My Project

My students have been using personal devices such as cell phones to produce segments for our student-made weekly news program. With the iPad, students will be able to shoot, edit, and create the program quickly and easily, with professional results. Having access to an iPad will allow them to spend more time writing and creating segments, rather than struggling with trying to edit using mixed formats. iMovie makes it much easier to seamlessly create content, and the built-in camera allows them to have an all-in-one solution to produce outstanding videos. This is just what aspiring journalists need to succeed.
