My Students

As a teacher in a low income area, my students face many challenges throughout the school year, both at school and outside of school. I have students from all backgrounds and walks of life. They work side by side supporting each other all year long.

My students work hard to achieve the goals they set for themselves and for each other.

They are constantly striving to do better and to learn more. They are learning to step up and face their challenges no matter how difficult. I hope that they continue to learn that where they are from does not define them. They are able to chose who they become.

My Project

Having an iPad will help make a difference in the way that learning takes place within my classroom. With my projector there are many apps that I can use on the iPad that can be projected up for the students to see. Students can be engaged in new activities in every subject.

Whether it is science, math, reading, or social studies there are so many opportunities for students with this technology.

Technology within the classroom is so vital and this technology would go a long way in keeping students engaged and involved. It is also something that would make taking technology and the classroom outdoors so much easier. We would be able to take our class outside and even complete projects outside. Technology within the classroom can be so beneficial and can really help to motivate students!
