My Students

Each of my students have varying needs in the classroom, an iPad can help with those needs.

My students are special education Pre-K students that learn best with hands on activities.

They love to play on the smartboard and we spend a lot of our circle time playing learning games on the board. I would like to bring some of the many wonderful learning applications available on an iPad to the children.

My Project

Sometimes, because a lot of my students are not able to communicate very well due to their disability, it can be difficult to properly evaluate a student over what they know or have learned. An iPad has many features that enable a special education student to read and write. Many apps are available for those students who have trouble communicating and help me as a teacher better evaluate what my students are learning.

It has been said that "For autism, it's a dream". I fully believe that an iPad is a dream for every special education student.
