My science students are taking chemistry and attend a rigorous arts and academics high school in New York. They come from a variety of economic backgrounds and cultures. As we navigate the challenges of remote learning, we need technology to help keep track of discussions, breakout rooms, and presentations.
They are excited to learn, but we need tools that allow for better interaction and mimicking of in-person learning!
My students are very talented and well-rounded. They are hard-working students who take pride in their art and their academics!
The materials in this project will allow me to provide the best virtual lessons possible for my students. These tools will mimic having a whiteboard in class. Students will be able to follow along as I write and present new material, and help them with difficult problems.
Using these materials will allow me to draw molecules on screen to show particle diagrams in the beginning of the year, show balancing equations, and plugging into formulas to solve math problems.
These tools will allow me to reach students in a way that is as close to in-person as possible!
