My Students

Students come into my classroom knowing they are apart of a community learners. My students know that kindness, creativity, exploration, and respect are all valued just as much as academic success.

As a class in a title one school, on the small island community of Kauai, we are learning how to become positive community contributors and leaders.

I want to provided my students with all the tools they need to make learning meaningful, accessible, enjoyable and rigorous! Thank you for helping us achieve our goals!

My Project

Technology is integrated into every aspect of our world. It's important that students today grow up understanding how to utilize the benefits of technology so they can be successful.

The best way for students to understand how to responsibly utilize technology is to provided the with opportunities to use it.

An iPad will provide my students with hands on technological experiences. We will use this iPad across curricula such as math centers games, learning how to code for science, and saving paper by using the iPad to read in small groups. This iPad will provide various opportunities for a multitude of learned experience in our classroom.
