My Students

This is my second year teaching 1st grade. My Students are learning how to be independent!

We are a Title I school, meaning many of our students come from poverty stricken homes.

Some of them do not have parental support at home after school. Therefore, they are excited to come to school and learn.

Your funding will help them learn interactively about Vowel sounds, Blends, and Digraphs. This is a very needed skill for them to be able to read.

My Project

The first grade students will use this iPad with the osmo that I have already purchased. The Osmo can be used for math, language arts, engineering, art and coding. This will enable my students to experience technology in a new and exciting way. Many of them come from low income families and this would never be an option for them. Please consider the endless possibilities that this provides for my students. They will feel empowered and comfortable with using and learning from technology.

They will thrive in their future because they had the opportunity to try new things and learn in many different ways.

I am excited to watch them learn and grow with this new tool.
