My students need an iPad and case to help them practice skills learned through educational apps, and to help (autistic) students needing visual schedules, timers, etc.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My resource students come to class knowing that they will get to earn positive rewards and incentives, and that learning will be hands-on and lots of fun.
My K-5 resource students have a range of disabilities and are from low income backgrounds (some PI students).
They do not get the opportunity to use technology at home, and yearn for fun hands-on learning.They love playing the learning games that I have to offer and cannot wait until resource to have fun while learning. My students are loving, caring, and have the most amazing hearts. They love learning when it is fun, and an iPad would help them to enjoy learning even more.
My Project
The iPad technology would help them to engage and have fun while learning new skills. They learn using multiple modalities daily, along with technology. My school has high academic expectations and a parent club who has been very helpful, but has limited funds for each teacher. We need iPads in our classroom to make learning more exciting.
My class will benefit from the use of an iPad by taking advantage of the hundreds of educational apps that I have previously downloaded.
They can practice typing, reading, comprehension, writing, math, social skills, and other skills through these fun apps. There are interactive books, learning games, social stories, speech therapy skills, and occupational therapy related apps. My students are learning basic math skills, reading skills, and writing skills, which are a struggle for them.
