iPad for Learning
My students need an alternative to writing due to physical impairments. An iPad is a great tool and will aide in student learning and instruction.
Our school has provided my classroom with one iPad. Due to physical limitations, my students benefit from technology based instruction as well as an alternative to writing.
I teach 5th and 6th grade cognitively impaired students.
They are always eager to learn and benefit greatly from technology-based instruction. My program is a substantially separate program and most of the instruction is done in small groups as they are at different levels of instruction.
There are so many great apps for an iPad in ELA (reading, spelling and phonics), Math, Writing, Science and Social Studies that my students benefit from. For example, there are apps that will read text to my students who are reading impaired and apps that allow my students to write with their finger.
I have a substantially separate classroom and a lot of 1:1 instruction.
My students are below grade level instruction so I need alternative instructional material that will aide and benefit my students.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
