Students at a young age are absorbing the most knowledge possible. Each day I try to show my students a new method for learning. Technology is a great method in motivating and letting students discover the unknown. By letting them explore, students will discover more than you even imagine.
My students are an eager group of students who love to learn.
My students interests range from ocean animals to princesses. By using technology and various resources I allow for my students to choose their own topics. Within my classroom I have a continuous improvement method where students are involved in their own learning process. Students help monitor their own education by using data to drive behavior and learning. Students love knowing what is expected and how to best fill their learning needs. Students are allowed to use technology, resources, and peers to created hands on projects to teach the other students around them. By allowing students the option of choice, their motivation and effort excels.
Our school is a first - fourth grade elementary. Within our school we have great students who are ready to discover the unknown.
My Project
My students will use their IPad in their daily learning. Students will be able to access their blog page on our class blog site during literacy centers. This will allow them to post new learning to their peers in our class. They will also be able to comment to questions and others learning by writing compete and thoughtful sentences.
Students will also be able to use the educational apps to increase their learning. Students will use many apps that allow to create books, brochures, and posters to present learning to their peers. Students will also print their creations to put in their data binder. When students are working on a standard, they will be able to show their learning however they choose. They will then print and be assessed on their new gained knowledge. By using technology students are highly motivated and creative.
This project will make a difference in their lives of all in my classroom.
Not all of the students in my classroom have technology outside of the school day. By offering technology opportunities within the school day allows students to explore and discover the unknown.
Students will learn responsibilities, respect, and sharing by using their IPad in their daily learning. I look for possible ways to help introduce students to the best opportunities during our eight hours together.
