My Students

My students are very bright and interested in learning to play the guitar.

Because our Guitar Club has grown to 40 students, it is more challenging to teach each student the chords they need to learn. Having an iPad would give me a lot more flexibility in trying to teach them. We can use the iPad for tuning their guitars, showing them where their fingers go when playing a chord, have them watch guitar tutorials online and download the chord charts of songs they want to learn.

These are just a few ways having an iPad for our Guitar Club would be very useful!

My Project

My students will be using this iPad on a weekly basis. All students will have access to use the iPad to grow in their guitar playing ability. The students lean how to hold the guitar, strum, and play as many chords as we can. We learn how to play popular songs and to see the excitement on their face when they realize they can play songs that are on the radio... it is priceless!

This technology will help students realize the power of music and will help to unlock their creativity.

It also keeps them in a positive school environment while they learn and have fun with their peers, instead of the negative distractions outside of school. Music can change the life of any person. I know this project will truly help my students not just become a better student, but a better human being.
