This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My scholars are an amazing and inspiring group of Kindergarteners who are from a rural area in the high desert area of California. They come to school each day ready to learn and eager to achieve. They are constantly producing innovative ways to accomplish tasks they are learning in class.

My Kindergarteners are learning new ways to incorporate technology into learning.

As they explore and investigate, they are becoming citizens of the school and community. Using new tools and devices will take them to the next level in competing in a global market.

My Project

My scholars just learning how to use technology in the classroom. Many of them do not have access to technology in their homes. They will use the iPad to practice individualized lesson using a program called i-Ready. This program generates specific lessons for scholars to complete based on a diagnostic assessment.

It is important that my scholars learn how to use technology to prepare them for their future years in school and beyond.

An iPad will provide hands-on opportunities for learning and growing in reading and math. iPad provides an application that is easy to navigate and convenient in class.
