Help me give my students an iPad to use for documenting project based learning and for uploading artifacts easily and efficiently to their Digital Backpack of Success Skills.

My Students

The students at my school are great kids who come from all parts of the city. We have neighborhood kids and kids from the rest of the city. Students come from a wide variety of socioeconomic statuses.

Many students have experienced extreme highs and lows in their lives.

There are students who are in traditional homes, single parent homes, and many coming from foster care. These students will use the ipPad to research, create, and discover. They will be used for project based learning as well as interventions to help all students go to middle school on grade level.

My Project

This iPad will be used to take pictures and video of students as they complete project based learning activities in the classroom. The iPad will allow for students to then upload their videos, pictures, and artifacts to their Digital Backpack of Success Skills in order to prepare for their 5th Grade Backpack Defense. Students must currently wait on an adult to send them their pictures and artifacts from their phones in order to upload to their backpacks. Having an iPad for this purpose in the room will allow for more speedy and efficient uploading and less time waiting for staff.
