My Students

Most of my students do not have access to the latest technology. Interactive technology makes learning more engaging and memorable. My students work hard everyday and are ready to learn, regardless of their situation at home.

Following the Pledge of Allegiance, my students state our school's mission statement, "Preparing student graduates to be successful in realizing their personal, educational, and professional ambitions." The students I get to serve strive for excellence and I must do all that is possible to make sure their learning environment is sufficient to meet their goals.

My Project

A classroom iPad will set my students up for success. Using an iPad in my classroom will provide a great tool that many of my students are not able to use at home. iPads have several education apps for every subject area. Using apps, I will be able to provide my students a fun and interactive way to practice high-frequency, spelling and vocabulary words. Apps will also provide visual experiences in Language, Reading, and Writing that students might never see otherwise.

An iPad will significantly enhance the educational experiences I implement daily.

Students learn in diverse ways and by using an iPad, I will be able to meet more needs of my students in a visual, hands-on approach.
