My Students

My amazing students have a variety of strengths and needs. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I help children find their voices and communicate their needs. We work on using a positive environment for growing and succeeding in the academic world.

My students are hard workers who don't let their speech or language difficulties hinder their potential.

I see a tremendous need to fill in gaps in their knowledge of how to access technology and then apply it towards functional life skills.

My Project

My speech and language students make gains each and every day they attend therapy. Whether they are increasing their verbal or nonverbal communication skills or comprehension skills, we are working on helping them have the communication skills they need in order to access their environment.

My students deserve exposure to iPads and how they can use them to connect and communicate with the world as they transition into their post-high school lives.

They will learn to keep schedules, set reminders, access public transportation, make appointments, order food and many other functional life skills that they will need in order become fully integrated into society.
