My Students

My classroom is very busy. I always challenge my students to do their best and achieve their goals. For me, my biggest challenge is differentiating their learning.

I teach in a NYC public school, which has a total of about 1500 students in grades pre-k through 6.

I am an elementary classroom ESL teacher. I have a class of 32 students, who are all at different levels of their English language acquisition. Not only do I have to prepare my students for the NYS exams, they also need to take the NYSESLAT.

My Project

By having iPads in my classroom, my students will be able to use different apps to improve their literacy and math skills. During independent work time, my students will be able to log in to their accounts (i.e. Splash Math, Myon, etc.) and have different activities that are on their level.

By donating to this project, my classroom will become more differentiated to all learners.

My students will be excited to practice and learn these skills independently in the classroom.
