This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students enjoy being able to explore and choose different art media in class. They like to draw, paint and create 3D artwork. I would like to create a digital art media option and eventually a center for interested students as a form of student enrichment. I have noticed an increase in students that want to explore digital art media as result from working on digital art projects during remote learning. My students are naturally curious about using the iPad and pencil. We currently have a fantastic 9th grade student who is a digital artist and has his own personal iPad and pencil. Many of his peers are so excited to see his work and want to try it themselves!
