My students love school and are excited to learn new things. They are eager and energetic learners! I love getting to guide their desire to learn and to grow academically and socially.
Our school is a Title I school and many of my students do not have access to technology at home.
My students are from a small, rural community where a large number of them receive free or reduced-price lunch. Many of my students come from families where English is their second language. My goal is to use technology to bridge gaps and in reading, math, science, and social studies.
My Project
My students are excited and curious to learn about using technology! Using the Osmo Genius Kit and Pizza Co. game and activities with an iPad will give my amazing students the opportunity to learn using hands-on games to spell words, to problem solve, and to develop financial literacy.
The Osmo Pizza Kit will provide my students with activities that will teach financial literacy skills using money, addition, and subtraction.
This virtual pizza restaurant will capture their attention and engage students while learning about buying, spending, and number sense. The iPad and Osmo Genius Kit will provide hands-on activities to create and learn while using technology.
